CHUCK will be in Perpignan for the SCREENING of his digital photo essay ABERFAN:The Days After
In October, November and December, of 1966, Chuck lived among the villagers of Aberfan, Wales immediately after the terrible disaster that claimed the lives of 144 people – 116 of them school children ages 9-11. Chuck was on assignment for American journal, LIFE magazine. The black & White photographs depict a community in grief and great pain and its return to life. The images will be projected and screened the evening of August 31.
